Reflection Questions
Try to avoid just getting the right answers and see this as a time to explore what you believe and how you can grow in your belief in the story. Also, don’t feel like you have to complete all the questions. Discuss these with a friend or your spouse.
- In your own life (or marriage), what are the implications of believing it’s God's story, and that he is the central character? See this week as an opportunity to train in not being the main character and share what you experience.
- How deeply do you believe in the goodness of God? In what ways do you struggle to believe it? Why?
- Why is trust in God so important, right in the beginning of the story? On a scale of 1 -10 how much do you trust God? What would look different if you really believed that you could trust God?
- How would your personal story feel or look different if you claimed Creation ("In the beginning...") as its beginning... instead of the day you were born? How do you view God as an authority?
- How could fearing God be good for the foundation of your relationship with Him?
