Recap
God is the Author of the Story. He is the central character, and each of us has a place within His Story. Because God is good, He desires good things for His children. Out of His overflowing love, He created the world, and like an artist delighting in a masterpiece, He looked at everything He had made and declared that it was very good.
By creating us in His own image, God established our inherent worth and revealed His desire for a close, personal relationship with us.
At this point in the Story, God had provided everything humanity needed to flourish: a home in the garden, abundant food, meaningful work, loving companionship, and, most importantly, His presence.

This is God's Story
How do you view the story of the Bible as it relates to you?
In your own life, what would it look like if you more deeply believed that you are living in God's Story and he is the main character?
How would your personal story feel or look different if you claimed Creation ("In the beginning...") as its beginning... instead of the day you were born?
This week, train yourself to think of God as the main character instead of yourself. Share what you experience.
