Hey friends,
The last time I wrote I said something about the craziness of a pandemic. Now in addition to that it feels like the fabric of our society is being torn like never before. Friends are becoming enemies on social media. The already divided Church is splintering at an ever increasing rate.
Amidst the storm, the Story hasn’t changed. For those in the Story, we continue on. Inviting people in, regardless of race, sex, gender, or whatever else that might divide. What unifies us is the Story, the reality that we are all in this same boat. We betrayed God and we need rescued. We were made for something different. We’re all made in His image and we are equal in value and fault.
I hope that these trying times are emboldening you to speak up, not about divisive issues, but about a uniting Story. We need to show the world what the Kingdom looks like and be like Jesus who was on the boat in the storm, yet completely in shalom.
Thanks for being a part of this movement. Many great things are happening and we believe we’re at the beginning of an enormous breakthrough in the Kingdom. The harvest is plentiful, even now…more than ever.
