FAQ
Who is SFL for?
Humans. Seriously. God’s Story includes everyone. You will have the best experience if you’re willing to engage and be challenged.
What is the time commitment?
Typically, SFL sessions last about 2 hours each over 11 consecutive weeks. This is the most common set up, not a requirement. Some groups may use alternate schedules.
How much does it cost?
It’s FREE. There is zero cost for the sessions. SFL facilitators are volunteers (yeah, they’re pretty great). We have handbooks available digitally or if you want a paper copy there is a small charge. SFL is a nonprofit 501(c)3 fueled by the donations of those who have been impacted by the Story.
When are SFL groups offered?
SFL groups are continuously running and forming both online & in-person (in some areas). Get on our interest list to get in the queue. We’ll reach out when group opportunities become available.
How do SFL Online groups work?
All participants join via video chat, so you’ll need a smartphone with camera OR internet connected computer with camera. Most of our facilitators use Zoom or Google Hangouts. They will send you a link to join the meeting and you’ll be able to see and hear the other participants. It’s that simple!
Is there an in-person SFL facilitator / group in my area?
Contact Us to find out or fill out our INTEREST FORM. We have facilitators in cities around the world and would be happy to connect you.
