Changes to the Facilitators Area

If you have logged in over the last couple weeks you have noticed a significant change to the amount of resources provided in the Facilitator’s area of the site. We have consolidated all the Facilitator’s Guides into one document, rather than by each session. We got rid of keynote and powerpoint slides because very few people use them and it was a lot of extra work to keep up with updates. All recordings are still there and we will be adding more over the next few months.

Repeatable

SFL should not be taken once and then checked off a to-do list. It should be repeated numerous times. The truth is there is so much being addressed in this course that a person may only retain 25% of it the first time through. A great thing happens when believers do SFL training repetitively, they going deeper in THE story of God. When we go deeper into THE story our beliefs go deeper as well. This results in a much stronger spiritual foundation.

Reproducible

Anyone who is willing can train others using the SFL tool. All we ask is that you participate in the training at least 2 times before venturing out as a trainer. The goal is that anytime a person would start a new SFL they would always be taking someone with them…to equip them to start facilitating SFL’s. We should always be planning for the next generation. All believers should be (and can be) equipped as foundation layers. Our world will look quite different if we can get there.

Foundational

Many Christians have listened to a lot of teachings but few have had an apostolic foundation laid in them (1 Cor 3:10-15). This lack of spiritual foundation results in believers with vast amounts of knowledge but very shallow beliefs. According to Paul, knowledge is good but it is not the foundation and when treated as such it results in a spiritual train wreck. The SFL training is a tool useful in laying a spiritual foundation so that a believer’s spiritual house can be built strong.
